Protect funding for Crooklets Beach improvements

Vital funding for accessible showers and changing facilities is at risk

Crooklets Beach, Bude

Bude is at risk of losing vital funding for new accessible showers, changing facilities and toilets at Crooklets and Summerleaze beaches. As part of the £3m ‘Future Coast Bude’ scheme.

Following objections to the current project, there are concerns that Cornwall Council could redirect this funding to another part of Cornwall. That would be a huge loss for our community.

These improvements would benefit older people, families with young children, carers and many others who rely on accessible facilities.

This funding was secured for Bude and it should stay in Bude. Cornwall Council must stick with the existing plans and deliver these much-needed improvements.

If you agree, please sign my petition today and help send a clear message to Cornwall Council: keep the funding in Bude and build these vital facilities.

Protect funding for Crooklets Beach improvements

We call on Cornwall Council to make the proposed improvements facilities at Crooklets beach and not move the funding to other projects in Cornwall.
