Close the Funding Gap. Deliver Bodmin’s GP Surgery

Bodmin cannot afford to wait any longer. The plans for a new surgery have stalled over a funding gap, while the existing practice is already operating at around 160% capacity and more than 3,000 new homes are being built or planned in the town.

Ben Maguire MP has raised the issue directly with the Health Minister, who has committed to helping move the project forward. Now NHS England and Cornwall’s ICB must make the decisions needed to unlock the funding and get construction moving.

Every further delay puts more pressure on already stretched local healthcare. Bodmin needs a GP surgery that can meet the needs of its growing community.
